I am a full-time mom and part-time child life specialist at the children's hospital. My husband, Eric, and I have a daughter at MJE in 2nd grade: our son, is moving to the middle school this year. In our free time, we enjoy RVing, watching our kids play music, and supporting the Nashville Soccer Club. I have been involved with the PTO in a variety of ways over the years. I have served as a grade level rep, classroom volunteer, and board secretary. Most recently, I served as the president elect. I love being an active part of the PTO to support our school: staff, students, and families. I am so thankful for the village of support MJE provides our children.
My name is Kylie and I am excited to serve on the board this year. My husband and I have lived in Mount Juliet for 10 years. My career background is in sales but for the last 5 years I have been grateful to stay at home to take care of my kiddos. I have two children, Stevie will be in 2nd grade this school year and Archie will be in kindergarten. In my spare time I love to read, if you ever see me around and want to talk books, please do! I also love being active, mostly by going to the gym and being outside playing sand volleyball. Last year I was able to volunteer with the MJE PTO and I am so excited to be more involved as a board member. I have thoroughly enjoyed working together with other parents and school staff to help bring our awesome events to life. We have such a great community available to us through MJE and I’m excited to be a part of helping it grow and evolve!
My name is Rukmin and I live in Mt Juliet with my husband, Jason, and daughter, Adalyn (Addy), who attends MJE. Adalyn is starting 2nd grade this school year. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Business from Trevecca Nazarene University. I currently work remotely, full time, as a Senior Product Owner on a Scrum team in Healthcare IT. This is my 2nd year on the board, but prior to that, volunteered for many school events as a Kindergarten parent. In my spare time, I like to travel, listen to live music/go to concerts, attend live sporting events, especially Vandy baseball, TN Titans Football and the Atlanta Braves. I also enjoy movies or my favorite tv shows, the occasional puzzle or board game, and girls day with Addy. The majority of my time is spent at the ball field watching Addy play softball or at the dance studio where she joined the competitive team. I'm excited to see what we can accomplish this year together and I'm grateful for the community we have at MJE.
My name is Jocelyn and I excited to contribute as a PTO board member this year. I am married and have two children; Harper will be in first grade this year and Reese is two. I work as an accountant and finishing up my master’s in accounting. My husband and I are native to Nashville and have lived in Mt. Juliet for three years. We spend our spare time doing gymnastics and being outside. I loved volunteering where I could last year and am so excited about being able to dedicate more time this year to the PTO to support MJE. I am so thankful for the community that we have at MJE and all of the hard work that goes into each event.
My name is Krista and I’m excited to serve my first year on the PTO board. My family and I have lived in the Mt. Juliet area for 12 years, moving from Milwaukee, WI. I work at the Vanderbilt University Brain Institute and am a science nerd at heart. I have two daughters: Madilyn who will start middle school and Everly who will be in third grade this year. My girls love playing volleyball and basketball, so that is where you will usually find me. My family and I like to go to Nashville Soccer games, experiencing new activities and traveling as much as possible. I love all things fall and winter: especially snow! I’ve been volunteering with the PTO since my older daughter Madilyn was in kindergarten, but this is the first time that I am in a leadership position. I’m looking forward to planning events this school year to facilitate a fun, connected school community.
My family relocated from Illinois to Tennessee during the summer of 2023. We don't regret that decision at all! I joined the PTO last school year because I love planning and I wanted to be a part of the MJE community. I've felt very welcomed and look forward to serving in the Treasurer capacity this next year. My son is entering 1st grade. I also have a 3-year-old daughter. I work full-time as a contracting officer for the DoD. I spend a lot of my time balancing work/life demands, but I'll always find time for what's important. The PTO is very important! In my free time, I love Pure Barre, reading, and planning my family's next fun adventure!
Hello, Mt. Juliet friends and neighbors! I'm Audrey Lane, and I've proudly called this wonderful community my home for the past decade.
Together with my husband Gavin, we're raising our four amazing kids here. Two of them are now thriving at MJE— Bianca is in 3rd, David is in Kindergarten, Cadence has moved up to MJMS and Aden is a HS Graduate. Our kids' education and well-being are at the heart of everything we do, and I'm passionate about helping our community in any way I can.
I have the pleasure of working as a real estate agent and mobile notary right here in Mt. Juliet. This career not only brings me joy but also provides the flexibility I need to be fully committed to our PTO. With a background as a former educator, I deeply appreciate the dedication and perseverance it takes to be a successful teacher. That’s why involvement is so meaningful to me, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute.
Every single one of us plays a vital role in making MJE the special place it is. Thank you for all your efforts and for helping us continue to make our school the best it can be! Let's keep the spirit of our village alive and thriving!
Hi! My name is Amanda Wolford, and I am so honored to be serving as the MJE PTO Past President for the 24-25 school year. This will be my sixth year serving on the board. My husband Matt and I have two boys, Blake (6th) and MJMS and Carson (4th) at MJE. When I’m not at the school volunteering, you will find me and my crew at the football field, basketball court, or baseball field. I currently help run a small team of educational consultants that work with teachers across the country to improve their teaching practices. This coupled with my previous teaching experience is what drives me to volunteer my time to support our students and teachers. I believe that by working together we will build a stronger community, support student success, and continue to make MJE the place to BE!
